Dominica Williams, who comes from Dublin, is studying for a Masters in Advanced Opera Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Dominica was the second recipient of Irish Heritage’s Brackaville Bursary for Vocal Studies in 2020.
She has been working as a singer since graduating with a BA in Drama and German from Trinity College Dublin in 2013.
Dominica was part of the launch of Irish National Opera in 2018, has participated inmasterclasses with Iain Burnside, Sigrid Herzog, Kathryn Harries, Susan Bullock, and Simon Keenlyside, and was a young artist for Northern Ireland Opera. She has worked with Opera Holland Park and INO with performances at the Barbican and with Dutch National Opera where she was covering the lead role of Amy in The Second Violinist. She has also performed solos with the Ulster Orchestra.
