Frasier Hickland
Praised in recital for being ‘dramatically sensitive’ (OperaWire) and for his ‘flair and dexterity’ (Seen and Heard International), Irish pianist Frasier Hickland is a recent graduate of the Royal College of Music, London, and the Royal Irish Academy of Music. He is a Leeds Lieder and SongEasel Young Artist, and has been featured on both BBC Radio 3 ‘In Tune’, and on BBC Radio Ulster’s ‘Classical Connections’. He has also performed in many prestigious venues in Europe and America, including Wigmore Hall, London, the Oxford International Song Festival, the Willard InterContinental, Washington DC, the Yacht Club de Monaco, Monte-Carlo, the National Concert Hall, Dublin, and at the BMS International Festival of Chamber Music. Alongside his duo partner, flutist Amy Gillen, he was selected as a ‘Rising Star’ at the West Wicklow Chamber Music Festival and their recital was broadcast on RTE Lyric FM.
