Ina Boyle Society Collaboration Concert

We were delighted to join the Ina Boyle Society on 11th October in St Marylebone Church for a collaboration concert to celebrate the lift of Ina Boyle. 

Brian Hughes, artistic director at Irish Heritage and Katie Rowan, in the same role at the Ina Boyle Society, put a really enjoyable programme together. The evening saw the launch of the Ina Boyle Song Book, which was collated and edited by Dr Orla Shannon from DCU and the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Orla spoke at the outset to give background to the publication and to the life of Ina Boyle.

We had a great turnout, and we were especially pleased to have His Excellency, Martin Fraser and Mrs Deirdre Fraser, come along to support the event. Many song books were sold on the evening along with CDs of Ina’s music and further information on them can be found at the Ina Boyle Society Website.
