Irish Heritage Charity is looking for an Administrator on a part-time basis, remunerated on a professional fee basis, self-employed, reasonable expenses paid, remuneration is gross, you will be liable for your tax and NIC payments. The role commitment will be freelance, flexible hours to suit your other working commitments, up to ten hours per week.
We are seeking a highly organised Administrator to provide administrative support to assist in ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the charity. To be successful in this role you will be highly literate/numerate with a proven administrative background and have excellent digital skills. You will have a strong desire to help drive the organisation forwards in improving efficiency and be able to manage a diverse workload and competing set of priorities. We are a small organisation therefore, you will need to have a ‘can do’ attitude, be a team player and be willing to get involved with a variety of tasks. You will need to be flexible and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. You will be joining a friendly team with the benefits of flexible working in relation to your commitment of up to ten hours per week.
The Primary role will be to provide secretarial and administrative services to the Trustees and Committee of the Charity. Experience of working with Charities and events is desirable and a knowledge of the performing arts, in particular classical music, will be an advantage.
